Accessibility & Inclusion

Every program, every interaction, and every piece of material is designed with ACCESSIBILITY at its CORE

Accessibility is not an add-on. It is the foundation.

Many people who need financial support the most are the ones who find traditional financial education the hardest to access. Whether because of learning differences, mental health barriers, past trauma, language, cost, or geography — the systems that are supposed to help often create more barriers.

Sonas Rath Collective was built from the ground up to remove those barriers. Every program, every interaction, and every piece of material is designed with accessibility at its core. We do not expect people to adapt to us — we adapt to them.

How We Make It Accessible

Built-in accessibility features

Plain-Language Explanations

We use clear, everyday language — no jargon, no acronyms without explanation, no assumptions about prior knowledge.

Flexible Pacing

We work at a pace that feels manageable. There is no rush, no pressure to keep up, and no judgment if you need more time.

Visual Tools and Checklists

We use visual aids, step-by-step checklists, and simple templates that make financial information easier to process and remember.

Step-by-Step Support

We break everything down into small, manageable steps — so nothing feels overwhelming or impossible.

Online Support Options

All programs and services are available online, making support accessible for people in rural areas, people with mobility barriers, or anyone who prefers remote access.

Reduced Shame and Judgment

Our approach is grounded in respect. We do not make people feel bad about where they are. We focus on where they want to go.

Neurodivergent-Friendly Systems

We design financial systems that work with ADHD, autistic, and neurodivergent brains — visual, flexible, and low-overwhelm.

Trauma-Informed Communication

We understand that money is deeply emotional for many people. Our facilitators are trained to respond with care, patience, and sensitivity.

Practical Examples

We use real-life examples that reflect the actual situations our participants face — not textbook scenarios.

Flexible Learning Formats

One-on-one, small group, workshop, online, in-person, hybrid — we adapt to what works best for each person.

Support for Anxiety and Overwhelm

We recognize that financial anxiety, burnout, and executive functioning barriers are real. We build our programs to accommodate them.

Accessible Materials

Program materials are designed with readability in mind — clear fonts, adequate spacing, and plain language throughout.

Neurodivergent Inclusion

Financial systems that work for you

ADHD, autism, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, sensory overwhelm, and burnout all affect how people interact with money and financial systems. Traditional approaches — spreadsheets, detailed budgets, complex filing systems — often fail neurodivergent people not because those people are incapable, but because the systems were not designed for them.

We design our programs and support around how neurodivergent people actually think, process, and work. Visual tools, flexible systems, low-overwhelm approaches, and genuine patience are built into everything we do.

ADHD: Visual systems, short sessions, flexible scheduling, and strategies for managing financial avoidance.
Autism: Predictable structure, clear expectations, written materials, and sensory-aware delivery.
Anxiety & Overwhelm: Gradual exposure, shame-free pacing, and support for financial avoidance patterns.
Executive Functioning Challenges: Step-by-step systems, external scaffolding, and tools that reduce cognitive load.
Burnout: Low-demand approaches, flexible participation, and support that does not add to the load.
